RonnieAdventure #0449 - Red Crock Canyon NCA 2021 Snow, Clark Counth, Nevada

On Monday the weather man announced that a cold front with snow projections was moving into the area during the night and the snow level would drop down to 2,000 feet by morning. So, we got up early on Tuesday morning and drove out to Red Rock Canyon NCA to take pictures. We were hoping that the clouds would lift and we could get pictures with the sun shinning on the snow; but the sun did not cooperate, and unfortunately Kolohe had to be home to teach school. We went back out in the evening, but we arrived too late and by that time most of the snow had melted. Unless another winter snow front moves in within the next few weeks we will probably have to wait until next year to take snow pictures out at Red Rock, or go up to Mount Charleston where the elevation is over 8,000 feet at the ski lodge.
