Welcome to the Bellagio Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas!
No visit to Las Vegas would be complete without stopping by the Bellagio Hotel/Casino to view the beautiful attractions. For those that are old enough to remember the "Rat Pack" days, the Bellagio was built on the site of the demolished Dunes Hotel/Casino.
Most people start their tour in the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, which has five different themed exhibits each year - Christmas, Chinese New Years, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Each exhibit each year is always different!
This Christmas season we stopped by the Conservatory for the first time in a number of years, so I have included some pictures from this year's visit and a lot of pictures from past visits. Enjoy!

Did I mention that the Bellagio has the largest chocolate fountain in the World! The fountain is 26 feet 3 inches tall, contains over 500 feet of stainless steel piping, and circulates 2 tons (4,409 pounds) of chocolate (white, medium, and dark confectionary grade) at a rate of 120 quarts per minute. It took over two years of engineering, planning and design to complete the fountain.
About 2,000 square feet of the lobby ceiling is composed of Dale Chihuly's Fiori di Como, which contains over 2,000 hand-blown flowers. Chihuly also has a retail outlet store near the Conservatory.
Regardless of how many time I see the Fountains of Bellagio, I never get tired of the water show. The "dancing waters" are synchronized to music that changes frequently.
