Each year in December Cawabunga Bay Water park decorates their facility for Christmas and the entire area becomes a winter wonderland with lights and other decorations. They even have special guest visiting from the North Pole!
There are numerous Christmas trees, topped with large white stars, scattered around the park. Santa's reindeer and sleigh surround one tree, but I could not find Santa!

For those that like to be chauffeur-driven, there is a "train" that goes around the park; so you can enjoy the lights without a lot of walking.

One of my favorite places was the "Tunnel of Light." The lights continually change colors as you are going through the tunnel, which makes for some interesting pictures.

And, if you get hungry, there are food booths from five different countries. The best deal was six items for $15, so we tried each country once and one country twice. We chose Ireland for the two choices because it was cold and they had two different kinds of soup. Since we were visiting the park just before closing, each booth gave us extra helpings of everything, which we really did not need.
Canada: Potato Fries topped with fresh cheese curds and a rich brown gravy. Hot cocoa was served while we listen to "Oh Canada."
Germany: Sauerkraut with spiced apples, bacon and brown seed mustard topped with grilled Bratwurst. Apple-cinnamon cider was served to wash it down.
Ireland: Vegetable beef stew or creamy potato soup. Both orders were served with a hard bread and mint hot cocoa. We tried both soups.
France: Salamis, assortment of gourmet cheeses and breads and hot raspberry dark cocoa.
Japan:Teriyaki chicken skewer atop jasmine infused vegetables and rice medley, served with Hot Chai Tea.
I ate too much and had a stomach ache by the time we left. I think it was the Sauerkraut and Bratwurst.

In addition to the lights and decorations they also had a nice Nativity display.
