RonnieAdventure #0554 - California, Ronnie's Picture's Journal - February 2003

In the Fall of 1992, we closed our business and I accepted a position with Bank of America in Pleasant Hill, California. Until we could get out house sold in Mesa, I found a place to live with another Bank employee in Berkeley, while Linda and Heather stayed in Arizona.  Before the Christmas holidays, Linda and Heather came for a visit. At the time, Randy was living in San Francisco, so we spent some time touring the area until Kristin could meet us in Mesa.

We spent Christmas in Mesa, then it was back to work in Pleasant Hill. While in Mesa, Bruce Baker stopped by for a visit and then we had a picnic in the park.

In the spring, Mount Tamalpais is a great place for hiking. Everything is very green and there are numerous waterfalls along the trails. In areas that are exposed to strong costal winds, the trees are permanently bent inward.
