RonnieAdventure #0333 - Largest Chevron Gas Station/Convenience Store in the World, Jean, Nevada

Jean (population 0) is located in Nevada along Interstate-15 between the California Border and Las Vegas. North of the Interstate, across the road to Goodsprings from the old Nevada Landing Hotel/Casino site, is the Largest Chevron Gas Station/Convenience Store in the World that opened in 2018. The facility is also known as Terrible's Road House Travel Center and is considered to be a destination location because of its many unique features.

The gas station contains 96 fuel pumps and 63 restroom stalls. (The restrooms have interesting instructions printed on the walls.) Within the 50,000-square-foot convenience store building there are three real airplanes hanging from the ceiling, one of which points the direction to the restrooms and carries emergency supplies.

As you enter the store, you are greeted by a guy sitting on a roof structures, a 13-foot tall Sasquatch that likes to have his picture taken, and a pirate named Captain Morgan.

If you need refreshments, lunch, or treats, there are 72 soda fountain heads, a White Castle fast food establishment, and a 4,000 square foot Candy Land that carries more types of candy than you could ever eat. You can also mix-and-match you own candy bags.

As part of Candy Land, there is a small toddler play area and throughout the store there are arcade games for kids; and, slot/video poker machines for kids over 21 years of age.

Jack Link's has a large selection of packaged Alien Fresh Jerky, including Invisible Jerky. The Invisible Jerky is great for food storage because it comes with a moisture absorbent packet and has an expiration date of 9/12/2999).

For people that forgot to purchase souvenirs when visiting Las Vegas, there is a large selection of Las Vegas trinkets, a Vegas Golden Knights merchandise section that also contains a Knights Born custom automobile, and a future Vegas Raiders section.

For the automotive enthusiast there is an Advanced Auto Parts Store, a NASCAR racing vehicle, a NASCAR automotive body suspended upside-down from the ceiling, and a trophy off-road pickup. There is also an electronic travel information center that provides all types of road condition reports, weather, driving times, etc.

Also located in the store is a large beer cave, a 30-foot-long coffee bar featuring Nitro Cold Brew, a Red Bull Lounge with the largest Red Bull Can in the World, and a Krispy Kreme donut outlet. The store likes to bill itself as the latest tourist attraction on the way to Las Vegas!

Hopefully, most visitors will save a few dollars to spend in Vegas!
